Dr. Sonu Goel is a renowned public health expert with an extensive background in health management and community medicine. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Health Management at the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, where his work integrates the domains of medical education, research, and public health management. With a career marked by academic excellence and impactful contributions to public health, Dr. Goel has established himself as a leader in the field.
Dr. Goel holds an impressive array of qualifications, including an MBBS, MD, and a PhD from Maastricht University, Netherlands. His academic affiliations extend internationally, as an Adjunct Professor at both Swansea University, UK, and Limerick University, Ireland.
He has been awarded several fellowships, including as a Fellow of the International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA), the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (FIAPSM), and the Indian Public Health Association (FIPHA).
