A major milestone during the month of July was the successful organization of the 34th International Public Health Management Development Program (IPHMDP) – Nursing Leadership and Management Program, which brought together 47 senior nursing officials from 19 countries under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) framework of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The program focused on strengthening leadership, management, and strategic decision-making competencies among nursing professionals through a blend of interactive lectures, case-based learning, simulations, group activities, and experiential learning. To provide participants with practical exposure to exemplary healthcare and academic institutions, comprehensive field visits were organized to PGIMER, Chandigarh, Fortis Hospital, Mohali, and Chitkara University, Punjab. These visits enabled participants to observe best practices in patient care, hospital administration, nursing leadership, innovation, healthcare technology, and academic excellence, fostering cross-country learning and the exchange of global best practices in health systems strengthening.
