The 33rd International Public Health Management Development Program (IPHMDP) was conducted over ten days and brought together 41 middle- and senior-level health professionals from 18 countries. Marking a significant milestone, the program celebrated the decennial anniversary of IPHMDP, commemorating a decade of excellence in global public health capacity building since its inception in May 2016. The inaugural session was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh, and Mr. Viraj Singh, Additional Secretary, Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The program provided a dynamic platform for strengthening leadership and management competencies through interactive learning, knowledge exchange, and cross-country collaboration. A notable highlight was the press meet, which garnered extensive coverage across various newspapers and news media platforms, showcasing the program’s global impact and achievements. The valedictory ceremony was honoured by the presence of Shri Vijay Nehra, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, along with Prof. Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, who congratulated the participants and reaffirmed the importance of leadership development in strengthening health systems worldwide.
