Financial Supportive Supervision Visit by Vital Strategies.

Ms. Asha Tandon, Senior Finance & Contracts Manager, Tobacco Control, Vital Strategies, conducted a Financial Supportive Supervision visit on 27–28 April 2026 at the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, PGIMER Chandigarh project site. The supervision exercise focused on reviewing and validating project expenditures, financial records, and reporting documents covering the period from January 2024 to March 2026. The visit aimed to strengthen administrative systems, financial management practices, and reporting mechanisms under the project. During the supervision process, Ms. Tandon also reviewed and validated key policy documents, administrative procedures, and compliance mechanisms followed by the project team during the implementation of various programme activities. The visit provided valuable guidance for improving operational efficiency, accountability, and adherence to institutional and donor requirements.
